Here in the US, it’s the Thanksgiving holiday, traditionally a time for families to travel across the town or across the country to gather for a feast celebrating togetherness and good fortune. Realistically, Thanksgiving is often fraught with stressful differences in personal beliefs leading to awkward situations around the table.
