(2025-05-03)

Mother’s Day falls on May 11th, the second Sunday of May in the US and Canada. In Ireland and the UK, it’s celebrated on the fourth Sunday of Lent, which was March 30th this year. May 1st is also May Day/International Worker’s Day and also Bealtaine–the start of Summer in the Celtic calendar. Katie Marie and Joe put together an hour of Celtic Music celebrating mothers, and giving a nod to Bealtaine.

The artists this week: Emer Mayock; Cathie Ryan; Burning Bridget Cleary; Méabh Music; Tradify; dBize; John And Maggie Carty; The Alt; Lorcán Mac Mathúna, Raphael De Cock, James Mahon; Ranarim; Dervish; Na Rósaí; Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin; and Michael Mcgoldrick.
