This March has nurtured a flurry of time-related highlights, from the US time change, the Irish time change, the first day of Spring, and the US Senate voting to make Daylight Savings Time a permanent thing. Katie Marie and Joe put together an hour of Celtic music that deals with passage of time. We also just got some newer releases into our hands, so we include some tracks from those.
Our time-savvy artists this week: Rebecca Lomnicky & David Brewer; Emer Mayock; Alan Reid & Rachel Conlon; Dougie Maclean; Altan; Goitse; Mick O’Brien, Emer Mayock, and Aoife Ní Bhriain; Becky Taylor; Tom Delany; Kate Rusby; Celtic Fiddle Festival; Lúnasa; and Usher’s Island.
This week, our FairPle score is: 54
