Coming up in the middle of October, it’s the national festival of Scots Gaelic culture, the Am Mòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail–The Royal National Mòd. Based on the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol in Wales, this festival features daily competitions of traditional music and poetry and epic recitations in Scots Gaelic and cèilidhs every night. Katie Marie and Joe put together an hour of Scottish music in recognition of this stellar festival.

This week, Katie and Joe play music from: Lauren MacColl, Calum Stewart & Lauren MacColl, Catherine-Ann Mac Phee, Dàimh, Ed Miller, Harem Scarem, Scone, Laura Risk, Solenn Lefeuvre & Gilles Le Bigot, I´mar, Kathleen MacInnes, Jamie Macdonald & Christian Gamauf, Deaf Shepherd, Alan Reid & Rob Van Sante, and Ryan Joseph Burns.

Our FairPlé score is 53 this week.
