In Mid-October, Scotland hosts the Royal National Mòd, an international celebration of Scottish culture, the Gàidhlig language, and traditional music. Based on the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru in Wales, this festival features stringent competitions in poetry, storytelling, and music, encouraging the growth of the Scots Gaelic language. Katie Marie and Joe put together an hour of Scottish music, much of it in Gàidhlig, to celebrate this cultural festival.
