In 2025, Tuesday, March 4th marks the last day before the liturgical season of Lent. The day is a time to overindulge before the fasting time of Lent. Here in the US, most of us are familiar with Mardi Gras, or “Fat Tuesday”, but elsewhere in the Western world (and in the towns of Liberal and Olney in Kansas), pancakes in all their glorious forms are the meal of choice. Katie Marie and Joe put together a festival of tunes and songs celebrating pancakes, Mardi Gras, and having a good time.
