Invented in different countries in the dark reaches of history, bagpipes have endured for centuries across the world. From elegant works of the instrument maker’s art to a seemingly haphazard collection of animal parts, bagpipes feature a bag filled by mouth or bellows to supply continuous air to the melody chanter and the drones. Katie Marie and Joe put together tunes from across the Celtic nations featuring the bagpipes in all their iterations.
