It’s Fair Plé Day! This is a day that acknowledges not only the contributions of women in Celtic and folk music, but advances the idea that festival promoters and broadcasters give women performers a fair shake.

We are also absolutely tickled to feature an interview with Irish musical legend,?Niamh Parsons, where we discuss the inception of the Fair Plé movement and how to address the underrepresentation of women performing Irish and folk music in general.
