March is Women’s History Month, and International Women’s Day was celebrated on March 8th. We’re a little late on this, as St. Patrick’s Day and St. David’s Day all cluster around the first two weeks of March. But, we’re making up for it this week with a show featuring women performers or bands where women dominate the lineup. There are so many powerful women performing Celtic music, and we’re honored to feature a few of these women for this hour. This week, we also play a track from Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh’s brand-new release, “Thar Toinn-Seaborne”.
