The first days of February are a time of transition, known by St. Brigid’s Day, Candelmas, Imbolc, First Milk of the Ewes, or in the U.S., Groundhog Day. It’s the time when people look ahead to spring, and in more temperate Northern Hemisphere climates, it marks the start of the Spring season.
